Central Laundry Equipment was founded in 1985 by Pat & Richard Bradshaw. After retiring from the Air Force, Richard was looking for a new career path when he chose to start Central Laundry Equipment. The company started in their small living room in 1985 before moving to a two-car garage and now has over 18,000 sq ft of warehouse and office space.

Since founding the company in 1985, Central Laundry Equipment has grown from a small one-person operation in Ward, Arkansas to employing over 20 employees in Arkansas, Tennessee and Mississippi.

They began as a UniMac distributor in 1985 covering the On Premises Laundry (OPL) industry. They have continued to grow yearly and expand into an 8-state territory covering: Hotels, Nursing Homes, Healthcare, Coin/Vended Laundries, Fire Departments, Vet Clinics, Schools, Sports facilities, Correctional Facilities, Jails, Multi-Housing (Apartments/Condominiums), RV Parks, Industrial laundries, Linen processing plants along with many other commercial laundry applications.

In 2014, they launched Clean Image Supply, their private laundry, janitorial and food service chemical line. As the demand for their products, services and equipment increased, they have since added industry leading lines such as Speed Queen (Multi-Housing), Fagor, ADC, Braun, Whirlpool, EconoWash, Duncan Fabricating, R&B Carts, Standard Change-Makers, ESD, Spyderwash, Hamilton Engineering, Monarch, Greenwald along with a long list of other laundry manufactures.
